Brechin V Stranraer at Glebe Park - Match Preview

Injury woes for McKinnon

Brechin will be without Derek Carcary due to a hamstring problem and the suspended Graham Hay against Stranraer.

Boss Ray McKinnon will not be able to finalise his side until close to kick-off time as Steven Jackson and Steven Robb are both rated doubtful.

McKinnon said: "We lost to Stranraer in a pretty bizarre game earlier this season when we were four goals down and then had them panicking as we made it 4-3.

"If that game had gone on five minutes more we would have won it. Hopefully we can start this game in the manner we ended the last one."

Stranraer, who shone despite losing 5-3 to Hibernian in the Scottish League Cup on Tuesday are without Sean Winter, who has an ankle problem.

Stair Park manager Stephen Aitken said: "I was really proud of the players for their performance against Hibs, however it is back to our bread and butter now.

"We have shown the standard that we can reach and a repeat of that would be great.

"Brechin will be keen to beat us as we beat them in the League Cup earlier this season, but if we play like we did that day and how we played against Hibs we can win."
