Brechin 2-4 Inverness CT

Inverness showed why they are strong contenders for the title with a slick 4-2 win over Brechin at Glebe Park and have now scored 16 goals against Brechin this season in 4 games, 10 of which were at the Caledonian Stadium.
Inverness opened the scoring 10 minutes into the game when Darren Thompson ran onto a through ball from David Bingham and poked into the far corner to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Brechins new loan signing from Rangers, Darryl Duffy made it 1-1 five minutes later when he nodded into the far corner, starting a shaky spell for ICT.
But just before half time, David Bingham was again the provider for Inverness when his shot was parried right into the path of Paul Ritchie, who tapped in from two yards to give ICT the advantage at the interval.
Two minutes after the restart, Inverness made it 3-1 when David Bingham scored a beautiful 20 yard effort.
On 61 minutes Darryl Duffy scored his second of the game and kept Brechin's hopes alive when he was put through by Charlie King to slot past the advancing Mark Brown.
Brechin were so close to the equaliser when they won a free kick just outside the area, Marc Millar looked like he was about to pass to Ally Mitchell for a strike, but instead curled it over the wall, but Mark Brown parried it onto the post and it rolled along the line, sadly, there was no-one to tap it in.
It was all over for Brechin 7 minutes from time when Russell Duncan netted the highlanders 4th goal when he volleyed past keeper' Davie Hay.
Brechin's MOM was Darryl Duffy, but arguably the Man Of the Match for Inverness was David Bingham with 2 assists and a goal.
