Brechin held Clyde to a 0-0 draw at Broadwood yesterday in which Craig Winter made his debut..
The draw takes Brechin off the bottom of the table, above Ayr United, but still remain in the relegation zone as Raith were victorious.
Clyde had the first real chance when Andy Smith was put through on goal by McCluskey, but was unable to connect with the ball.
Colin Marshall came close to opening the scoring for the Bully Wee when his shot hit the bar when it looked easier to score, Andy Smith also squandered a chance after being assisted by Ian Harty.
Charlie King was tormenting the Clyde defence and Bully Wee keeper Bryn Halliwell was twice called into action thwarting Darryl Duffy and the impressive Scott McCulloch.
Just minutes from the break Bryn Halliwell was called into action again when he brilliantly gathered Marc Millar's 25 yard free kick.
Davie Hay later made terrific saves from Ian Harty and former City midfielder Kevin Fotheringham.
Clyde were pushing for the winner in the last 10 minutes but were unable to find the net because of excellent goalkeeping and solid defending.
2 players were booked, Ian Harty of Clyde and Darryl Duffy of Brechin.

BCR's MoM- By all accounts keeper Davie Hay had a fantastic game and made several crucial stops to keep the game at 0-0.
