A good turn out of members of Brechin City FC, attentended the Northern Hotel on Tuesday evening for the club's Centenary AGM.

There were the usual reports from the manager, Chairman, secretary and treasurer.

Manager, Michael O'Neill stated: "I have told the committee yet, but I still have a few irons in the fire and would like to strengthen the squad further by the start of the new season. By the same token, If I had to start with the present squad, I wouldn't see that as a problem."

There were a few questions from members on wide-ranging subjects, the only dissenting voice being criticism of the time taken to dispense with the services of the previous management team. This point however was supoorted by a majority of members in attendance.

The retiring members of the management committee Chairman David Birse and Commercial Manager, Steve Mitchell, were re-elected and with the retiral of vice-chairman Hugh Campbell Adamson a new member joined the committee in the shape of Ian Jardine, a life-long City fan and season-ticket holder.

The chairman stated that in his long involvement with Brechin City, he had never approached that start of a new season with such enthusiasm.
