Bell's Cup 2nd Round Draw

Brechin have been paired with last seasons promotion rivals Greenock Morton in the 2nd round of the Bell's Cup, this will be played at Glebe Park, another game on the season ticket! Thats 3 cup draws we have been drawn at home, excellent! The match will be played on either Tuesday the 30th of August or Wednesday the 31st of August. The kick off time will be either 7:30 or 7:45, but City Mad will keep you updated to when it will be played and what time.

Morton have really strengthened during the summer, they signed former Ton favourite Derek Lilley who dropped down two divisions from Livingston to sign for Morton. Another new face is Kevin Finlayson, who was signed from Stranraer, Kevin is a speedy winger who won't give the City defence a minutes peace all night. Andy McLaren, who was on loan to the Ton from Dundee Utd last season, has been signed up permanantly after his impressive performances last season. Last but not least they have also signed Alex Walker from Clyde, who was at Rangers as a youngster.
