Brechin 0-0 Montrose

BCR's MoM, Colin Boylan
Montrose won 5-4 on penalties.

The hero was Montrose goalkeeper Michael Hankinson as he made a magnificent one handed save to push Kevin McLeish's penalty over the bar.

The penalties was the only exciting part of a very poor and uneventful game at Glebe Park, which only attracted 146 spectators.

Henry Hall was pleased with his teams performance and didn't mind if Montrose had won or lost before the game.

Meanwhile, City manager Dick Campbell felt it was a shocking game and felt we could barely create a half chance.

Montrose now meet St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park in the final.

BCR's MoM- No-one on the pitch played well, but Colin Boylan looked active when he came on as a second half substitute.
