Brechin V Airdrieonians at Glebe Park - Match Preview

McKinnon welcomes back Anderson

Brechin City welcome back Stuart Anderson against bottom side Airdrie after a ban, however Paul McLean misses out through a suspension.

Ewan Moyes, who was sent off in the Scottish Cup against Forfar last week, can play as he will serve his suspension in the replay however winger Bobby Barr is absent following recent groin surgery.

Manager Ray McKinnon said: "We are still not being consistent enough and I am looking for that to change. Gary Bollan will be looking for Airdrie to start winning games but we have to start putting together a decent run of results.

"We are creating chances but we have to start being more clinical."

Bottom side Airdrie will need to agree a deal with Jamie Pollock ahead of kick off at Glebe Park as the midfielder has been involved in his permitted three games as a trialist.

Chris O'Neill continues to be ruled out with a groin problem while Grant Drummond and Grant Evans both rated as injury doubts.

Manager Gary Bollan said: "We have not played for a couple of weeks but the players have been in and worked incredibly hard in training.

"It will be a tough game but hopefully the players will get a win and that would be a fitting reward for the work they have put in."
