Brechin V Albion at Glebe Park - Match Preview

Molloy missing for Brechin

Brechin have only Craig Molloy unavailable as they host relegated Albion at Glebe Park in their penultimate game before the play-offs.

The midfielder misses out due to a knee injury, with manager Ray McKinnon freshening up his side after Saturday's 2-1 defeat from Stenhousemuir.

Ewan Moyes, Johnny Brown and Gary Fusco are all expected to come back, with McKinnon warning his men that they will face a determined Coatbridge outfit.

McKinnon said: "Albion Rovers may well be relegated but they will be out to prove that they are a good footballing side. They beat us 3-1 at their place recently so they will not lack confidence coming here.

"We have a big end of season coming up and I want us going into it on a high."

Albion welcome Alan Reid back from suspension, but fellow defender Barry Russell is still banned.

Also missing for the Coatbridge side are Michael O'Byrne and Steven Howarth who have ankle problems and Tony Stevenson who is out with a knee injury.

Despite their relegation, Cliftonhill boss Todd Lumsden is looking for his men to go out on a high.

He said: "We have shown at times this season that we can be a good side, however inconsistency and defensive mistakes have hampered us.

"There is no pressure now so we can go out and end our time in the Second Division on a high.

"We beat Brechin recently and they will be out for revenge for that one, so we need to play well."
