Brechin V Forfar at Glebe Park - Match Preview

Moyes may miss out for Brechin

Brechin could be without Ewan Moyes when they entertain Angus neighbours Forfar.

The defender, who has scored in the Glebe Park men's last two games, suffered an ankle injury in Tuesday night's 2-1 success at Ayr.

Craig Molloy continues to be sidelined by a knee problem and Alan Trouten is a doubt with a hamstring problem, but Gary Fusco returns from a one-match ban.

Manager Ray McKinnon said: "Our players have done well to take four points from our last two away games which were against sides that are also chasing a play-off place.

"We need to keep that going against a Forfar side that we have beaten 4-1 in our last two derby games. That will make them very determined to win this one."

Forfar will miss defender Michael Bolochoweckyj through suspension, but the blow is softened as Danny Denholm is back from a ban.

Odmar Faero and Ross Campbell are doubts after illness this week and Keith Gibson remains sidelined with a knee problem. Dale Hilson is over his ankle injury and will return.

The Loons' former Glebe Park manager Dick Campbell said: "Ray McKinnon has done a fantastic job at Brechin since he went in there and I watched them the other night put in a very solid performance to defeat Ayr.

"We have got ourselves back into a play-off position and have every intention of holding onto it. The best way of doing that is by winning all our games, starting at Brechin."
