Brechin will have veteran Craig Nelson in goal against visitors Stranraer as Michael Andrews is suspended after being dismissed Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Albion Rovers.

The Glebe Park men, who still need a point to be definitely sure of their place in the promotion play-offs, are also without Ewan Moyes (hip), Gareth Rodger (hamstring), Craig Molloy (knee) and Derek Carcary (hamstring).

McKinnon is warning his men that they cannot slow down despite turning their season around and said: "We have a goal difference that is 20 better than Forfar so we are very nearly there.

"I am proud of what we have achieved so far but we want to go into them in decent form."

"Stranraer have a lot to play for so we need to play well to win this one."Nelson to mind net

Stranraer are sweating on the fitness of Sean Winter after the attacking midfielder picked up a groin injury early on in Saturday's 1-0 defeat from Arbroath.

The Blues are already missing the banned Ryan Borris and David MacGregor, who has a knee problem, as they look to re-open a five-point advantage on eighth-placed East Fife.

Manager Stephen Aitken said: "We lost at the weekend and East Fife won but there is no need for panic as we are still in front. This is a huge game in our season but we go into it with confidence as we defeated Brechin recently.

"We played well at Arbroath but could not possession into goals. If we can do that we can win at Glebe Park."
