ONE TO WATCH
James Sharp: The big defender has played excellently this season and has been solid in the centre of the defence, one of the few players Falkirk are happy with this season.

Russell Latapy: The former Rangers midfielder is having a good season and has ripped Brechin apart in the last two meetings, he also scored 2 goals in the 5-0 demolition at Ochilview.

TEAM NEWS
Striker Stevie Hampshire and keeper Davie Hay are both doubtful for the game after picking up injuries against Inverness CT and had to be substituted. Playmaker Charlie King should be back in action after featuring in the second half of Brechin's narrow 1-0 defeat to Inverness on Tuesday. Colin Boylan and Graham Gibson will be both competing for Hampshire's place, while Kevin Budinaikas will replace Davie Hay between the sticks.

HISTORY
Brechin City need to improve on a poor record between the sides. The visitors have won 7 of the 18 previous games, with the City winning just 4.

The most recent encounter between these two sides at Glebe Park was earlier this season, where the two teams cancelled each other out in an enthralling 2-2 draw in a Scottish Division One match. Ally Mitchell and Marc Millar were on the scoresheet that day.

BCR'S PREDICTION:
Brechin City have managed to pick up just two wins from their last six home games, losing three, While City have scored 7, a worringly large 11 have been leaked at the other end.

Falkirk have an average recent record on the road, with two wins, two draws, and two defeats. The Bairns's have scored 10 goals in these games, but conceded an alarming 11.

Brechin City find themselves stuck right at the bottom of the division. Their 31 games have yielded only 22 points. Falkirk's 47 points from 31 games sees them lie inside the top half of the table, in 5th position.

Brechin have more to play for than Falkirk so I can see a narrow win for Brechin in this match: Brechin 2-1 Falkirk
