Bye Bye "Boab" McCulloch?

Scott McCulloch is attracting interest from 1st division outfit Queen Of The South. The Cumnock based defender wants to play for a club nearer to his home and Brechin can't offer him that, while the Dunfries side can.

And if Scott McCulloch leaves, that will leave a space for Scott McNicol, who was on loan at Angus rivals Forfar last season. McNicol will play as a trialist in a friendly against Dundee tomorrow (Saturday).

Scott McCulloch was well known as a no nonsense defender at Glebe Park, and his trademark mazy runs up the pitch won the fans hearts. Wherever Scott ends up, we wish him all the best.

Meanwhile, the draw for the CIS Insurance Cup 1st round will be made on the 13th of July (Tuesday).
