City part company with Campbell.

Brechin City have parted company with manager Ian Campbell after a terrible run of defeats. Brechin have only won 1 game in the league this season under Pink and the board felt it was about time to take action. Apparently Pink rejected an offer from the board to resign, so he had to be sacked, probably costing the club a bit of money in the process.

It must have been a hard decision for the board to make, with Ian Campbell being a local hero as he is currently the record top scorer in his playing days at the club and he was also a well respected coach. Not only that but his company 'Avenue Recruitment' sponsored the teams shirts throughout the season but sadly his managerial skills were not up to scratch.

Also leaving the club are assistants Bert Paton and John Young, we sih them all the best for the future. Captain Paul Deas and back-up keeper John Hillcoat have been given the job of caretaker managers until the board decide on the new manager.
