Dumbarton v Brechin

Last updated : 24 September 2010 By BBC Sport

Dumbarton goalkeeper Stephen Grindlay is fit, but may struggle to regain his place from Michael White, who has kept a clean sheet in the last two games.Jon McShane is out with an ankle injury and Ross Campbell, Graham Wilson and Mark Gilhaney all face fitness tests.

Brechin manager Jim Weir has only one injury concern after his side's midweek defeat at the hands of Motherwell.

Defender David White is toiling to face Dumbarton after making his first start for 21 months.

Dumbarton manager Jim Chapman: "Michael has done really well whereas Stephen has pushed himself really hard to get fit again quickly so I have a dilemma.

"We have made some steps forward recently and the past couple of weeks and have been a lot better than the earlier weeks of the season."

Brechin manager Jim Weir: "We did okay against Motherwell and would have done better if we had taken our chances.

"If we get chances down at Dumbarton we have to take them and I have told that to everyone not just the strikers.

"Whoever gets a chance in the final third, be they a striker midfielder or a defender we need them to be ruthless."
