Eight teams learn Cup semi fate

Scottish Cup holders Dundee United will play Brechin or St Johnstone for a place in this season's final if they can beat Motherwell in the last eight.At Monday's event in Largs, the winner of the St Mirren-Aberdeen replay at Pittodrie was drawn to play the winners of Inverness CT versus Celtic.

The Highlanders' quarter-final tie against Celtic was postponed on Sunday morning due to a waterlogged pitch.

The semi-final ties will be played on the weekend of 16-17 April.

United and Motherwell drew 2-2 in a thrilling quarter-final at Tannadice and will contest a replay for a spot in the last four.

There was an identical scoreline in Brechin's tie against Derek McInnes's Perth Saints on Saturday, while Aberdeen struck in injury-time at St Mirren Park to salvage a replay.

Dundee United or Motherwell v Brechin or St Johnstone
