Hampshire, In Dunfermline colours.
Hampshire was signed from Dunfermline last August by manager Dick Campbell and has never regretted his move to Brechin City as he is now fulfilling the potential the manager saw in him.
"He is a first class player and I am delighted he wants to stay with us" said Campbell, who will be without the services of Hampshire for the QOS match through suspension.
Marc Millar is also out for the QOS game following his ordering off at Somerset Park a fortnight ago.
With Millar and Hampshire out of the reckoning, Campbell will have to make changes to the squad on Saturday.
Brechin have only lost by the odd goal in each of their two encounters with QOS this season and a measure to their disappointing first half to the season is that QOS have more than twice the number of points.
Brechin's target will be to overtake Ayr United and Raith Rovers, who are also within striking distance, and for the challenge, Campbell would like to add another player to his 21 man squad.
He has targetted an SPL player, but nothing will happen this week.
