Brechin are considering selling struggling striker Chris Templeman.
Last seasons second division player of the year has found the step up to the 1st division tough to handle and manager Dick Campbell revealed yesterday he's had a couple of inquiries for the former Dunfermline man.
"Chris has scored just 5 goals this season compared to 27 last year and it's not happening for him" admitted Campbell. "I'm not happy with how things are going and neither is he, the two inquiries we've had for him have only been of a general nature, but we'll see what develops"
Brechin accepted a £70,000 bid from Morton for the player during the summer, but he turned down the move to Cappielow and was subsequently awarded a new contract which runs until May 2006.
Since the transfer window opened Campbell has already sold Kevin Fotheringham and Dene Shields and, in addition to Templeman, both Derek Clark and Graham Gibson are attracting attention from elsewhere.
"I'll be speaking to Derek and Graham to see if they are interested in moving on and if they are then they can go" he said. "unfortunately , I'm not making any progress as far as getting anyone in is concerned, but at the same time I'm not prepared to sit still and not take any action to try and turn things around."
