Transfer window roundup.

Kevin Fotheringham, off to Clyde.
Dick Campbell hasn't signed as much players as he hoped, but he has made some fantastic signings and has made some profits.
Dene Shields went out on loan to Cowdenbeath earlier in the season, and has banged in the goals for them. When Dene was due to come back to Brechin, Cowdenbeath signed him for £4,000. That was a good bit of business for Brechin as they signed Dene for free at the start of the season, so they made a nice profit.
Kevin Fotheringham, who was a vital member of the championship winning team in the 3rd division, and the promotion winning team in the 2nd division has failed to shine in the 1st division. He was placed on the transfer list and Clyde offered £5,000 to Brechin and full time for Fotheringham, City could not step in his way.
Marc McCulloch also failed to make the first team, and signed for Arbroath.
But the highlight of the transfer window was the loan signings of striker Darryl Duffy and defender Andy Dowie, both from Rangers U21's and also play for Scotland U21's. Duffy made his debut in the 2-0 victory over st Mirren and Campbell was happy with his performance. The next week Duffy netted both goals for Brechin in the 4-2 defeat by Inverness, and looked great! Andy Dowie made his debut against Inverness but learnt a timely lesson, where he was surprised at the pace of 1st division football and din't play well in the 1st half, but he was solid in the 2nd half and looks a good signing.
Midfielder Derek Clark is attracting attention from Dumbarton, and may well sign for them before the transfer window closes.
