Update on Injuries

City boss Ian Campbell is hopeful that most of the injuries will be cleared up in time for the Airdrie match on Saturday. The injury list was so long a fortnight ago that almost half of the entire squad were unavailable against St Johnstone. Pink had to play two trialists and call up Ryan Strachan to make the 16 man squad. The two trialists were Alistair Campbell, who happens to be 'Pinkys' son and Kevin Nicol, who was released by Hibernian but unfortunately opted to sign for Peterhead.

However, things are looking a bit brighter for City ahead of Saturday's league clash against Airdrie United at Glebe Park. Craig McEwan is the only definate doubt for the match and the likes of Kevin Byers, Steve Hampshire, Darren Smith, Scott Wilson, Scott Wilson, Gary Bollan and Grant Johnson should all be fit to feature on Saturday.

City's ranks will not only be boosted by these players returning from injury, but striker Chris Templeman is set to make his first appearance in over a year for City after he left for Morton last December. Chris is currently on loan from Morton for the remainder of the season. 'Sanny' will no doubt be given an excellent reception from the Brechin supporters.
